Today Ambassador Kenney announced that the U.S. is providing an additional 15 million bhat, $500,000 in humanitarian assistance to support flood relief in Thailand.  Below are pictures courtesy of the US Embassy.

Despite the additional support, the water continues to come.  In an effort to spare some of Bangkok, the Thai government is "sacrificing" eastern Bangkok.  The below gives you an idea of the plan, courtesy of the Bangkok Post.
