Since we've now cancelled Japan Crate, we thought it might be fun to try a new international candy box.  Recently, Bocandy offered us a box for reviewing purposes.  Upon opening the box, it looks . . . full.

The first thing I pulled out of the box were these Japanese gummy candies ($1.55 a bag) and sucking candies ($2.50).  I don't know what muscat gummy candy is, but they tasted alright. Not bad. Not great. They did have a weird texture. The lychee ones had a stronger flavor and taste. The hard candies reminded me of the dish of hard candies my grandmother keeps on her table.

Starting from the top left and working clockwise in this picture, we got some small coca cola-flavored candies. They were really tiny and did indeed taste like Coke. The Swiss chocolate wafer was my favorite snack in the box ($2.75). It did come a little melted and was just a milk chocolate covered wafer. Finally, the last snack was basically a sponge cake with a chocolate coating from Bulgaria ($5.50).
The last - and biggest - snack was something called Krackjack ($2.50) from India. I think I was hoping for something similar to Cracker Jack, but it was a package of sweet and salty crackers. They definitely reminded me of something, but I wasn't able to put my finger on what it was.
Overall, this box contained many good snacks and candies. There was nothing in it, however, with a wow factor. There wasn't anything I didn't like in this box. There also wasn't anything that left me really wanting more. Bocandy costs $15/month (including shipping) for 6-9 candies, $42 for a 3-month subscription, $78 for a 6-month subscription, or $132 for a 12-month subscription. You can also purchase a half-size box with three to four snacks each month for $8.08 (not including shipping).

Overall, out of 10, I give Bocandy a 6 on quality, 7 on cost ($21.35 value), 6 on appropriate for me, and 6 on fun. I thought this box was less fun than Japan Crate and did not really attempt to get anything that different than what you could buy in the U.S.Bocandy offers free shipping to any APO/FPO address.  They also offer 50% off the first month of any regular subscription for their military and diplomatic customers using coupon code MILITARY.
