2015 seemed like the return of the old school. Everywhere I have looked I have seen day planners, both of which I initially gfawwed at. I mean it is 2015 how do people not use smart phones or tablets or whatever technological device they have. But then I really sat back and thought about it, outside work, how often do I actually open a calendar and written things down. And how many times this year have I lost a business card or double booked a day? While dining at my Wednesday night ladies wine night, a friend pulled out her day planner and explained it was her life. At that moment, I decided to give it a try and given that I live and breathe sub boxes, I decided to seek one out.
Covet Crate describes themselves as a box that grew out of the desire to empower, inspire, motivate, and encourage women in their careers and every day lives.  In each box, you will receive not only physical, tangible items, but experiences and opportunities as well. Each month, you will receive items such as: Office Supplies & Accessories; Stationery; Office Decor; Style Accessories; Beauty & Skincare Items; Office Snacks & Beverages; Books; Discounts (e.g. on business/life coaching, classes) and more." It is important to note that each box may not contain a day planner but this one did.
From the moment I opened the box I was beyond impressed with the curation and stylization of the box. It was clear this was a box for an adult woman trying to make a movement towards life organization, but also STYLE!

The box exuded an air of continuity with the first and key piece for me, the day planner. Not your teenagers day planner, it was sleek, stylish and I wouldn't be embarrassed pulling it out at a party. The planner from Create 365 ($15) comes is an expandable, disc-bound planner that includes 18 months and features a unique layout with monthly and weekly views.

What I loved even more about this box is that it doesn't just throw one piece at you but provides the additional "accessories" you may want to help with your new planner.
Included were three sets of the Create 365 To Do Stickers - Gold Foil by Create 365 ($15.00) and the below Heidi Swapp Minc Binder Clips ($4) 9/Pkg-Gold and  mini notepads Heidi Swapp - Notepads - Black & Gold (4 Piece) ($9.52). These pieces go together perfectly and with the planner despite being from different companies and lines of products. I appreciate the thought behind it. Also included were a set Harvest Paper Co. “Like a Boss” Black & Gold Imprinted Pencils (pictured above). The pencils are also gold and made California cedar wood ($1.50)

Next was another color themed and unique notebook, another piece I would not be embarrassed to pull out in a meeting ($7.50).
As the company promises, the box also includes a Ready Pretty Gift Card – Subscribers received a gift card for 25% off any styling service from Ready Pretty. I think it is a cute way to add a discount, though I was sorta bummed the box was empty. Womp Womp!
Fleurt Collective Prints – Two 8″ x 10″ prints were included: A black & white Audrey Hepburn quote and a “She believed she could so she did” print in a metallic gold from the Fleurt Collective Etsy Shop ($10). For those who know me this Audrey Quote printed from my lame work computer is up on my wall already, but will soon be replaced!

Also as an exclusive for the first box, Covet Crate included an exclusive Eliza Gwendalyn piece. This sterling silver piece (which on their site can by customized) is valued at $125, but I would price it probably around $35. Sadly, they have sold out of this item in January, but it does show how much the company VALUES its clients.

Also, if you want more information on your products, rather than just as small info card, the inaugural covet crate did a full magazine explaining their logic and companies supported by the box.
There are two different size options available, the “Girl Boss Box” is $44.95/month, while the larger “Lady Boss Box” is $84.95 (plus shipping). The above is only the Girl Boss Box, imagine how packed the Lady Boss Box would be. Honestly, this box is great for the on the go working mom or someone who just wants to chic up their office/home office. I was super impressed by the box.
Coupon Code: Exclusive coupon! For our readers (both military and non) use coupon DUBTRAV25 for 25% off the first month of their month-to-month subscription. Please note the codes are not good on the 3-month subscriptions because you are already getting a discount for those!

Overall, out of 10 I give January Covet Crate a 10 on quality, 10 on cost (I priced the box WITHOUT the necklace at 62.52, 9 on appropriate for me and 10 on fun. Seriously, try this box and get organized and ready for 2016! If you loved this box, hurry and order the January box closes on January 5th.
